Discuss all things Street Sharks here.
-Toys?
-Comics?
-Likely new show?
>>
You know what is the biggest problem with the OG Street Sharks is that the paint on the rubbery parts starts to crack off as time goes on.

It's very difficult to find one with good paint in my experience.

>It's very difficult to find one with good paint
And yet people will still try and charge you through the nose for it. That's why I'm glad this new series of figures is coming out.
>>
Guesses on when the new show is getting announced?
I'd say before this year's SDCC so the trailer can be shown.

What’s the best option for AtLA toys? Mattel was the first but they only really did book 1 era characters and stopped, looked pretty bad though as well. McFarlane and Best Axn both have a 5 inch line, both look and pose cheap from what I can tell. As far as I can tell, there’s best Axn 5 inch (all characters are 5 inch and so they don’t scale together) and mcfarlane 5 inch which do scale together, mcfarlane also did appa and the fire rhino. There’s also the mcfarlane 7 inch line. Curious which one seems the best, all of them don’t seem that good but which one is the best?

Man I tried searching that so many times by date, upload count and all that bs and could never find it. YouTube just showed me so much random unrelated shit. Anyway, just finished watching it, aside from the image quality I actually still love it. Love the sets and builds, love all the in scene lighting from the Lego’s themselves and friggin adore the classic build style. I gotta ask a question man, have you ever watched any of NamChild’s animations?

Not 2009, but might as well be since a decent chunk of his videos were done prior to 2010, I always found ForrestFire101's lego movies to be hilarious. Riddler returns is probably my favorite.

>I gotta ask a question man, have you ever watched any of NamChild’s animations?
Not back when I was a kid, but I did download their videos when I was going thru YouTube playlists looking for stuff to add to my archive, there are so many small channels with great Lego stop motions that are hidden away

You tell me why i mentioned it and then ill tell you why i mentioned it.

Old one fell off, so I'm stepping up.
Company status:
Joytoy: thriving!
McFarlane: hanging in there
Bandai: they're still around!?

Let's keep it to the toys, and no lore.

Thread question - is there a repaint that you'd really want, but hasn't been done yet?

Damn, I just looked at BBTS, and I never realized how shitty their prices are... Amazon has way better prices.
As far as I can tell, there are no bootlegs, as the Chinese don't skim their own, so that shouldn't be an issue. Just go for where's the cheapest, and or ships the fastest.

I've gotten most of my JT stuff through Amazon and haven't had an issue, aside from Guilliman having two of the same pauldron, but the return only took, like, 2 days.
>>
>>10965610
I ordered six of each.
>>
>>10967289
Amazon is awful in current year, just order from AliExpress. JT bootlegs don't exist currently and AE unironically has better customer service. I have only had four instances where a figure was missing something (I have 114, only a handful were bought on Amazon or from the JT website and the rest from AE), and all but one of those times they either refunded the cost of the entire figure or sent the piece that was missing for free: My Castellan Crowe was missing the potion bottle thing that goes on his hip and they said they didn't have the part available to replace that, but from what I have heard, that part is mismolded and all of them that do exist are fucked up and don't fit in the belt anyways, so I don't think it was the seller's fault. I can't speak for Gundamit since I don't use them, but I know that BBTS has awful pricing and I hate that their name sounds like a sex toy shop so I never purchase from them.

i definitely dig both of these designs. I'd like to see them modified somewhat... the pincers should be on the forearms rather than inexplicably held in his hand (is he operating them like chopsticks?) and the head as a flip-up dish thing is kind of silly, but the rest of that one is basically perfect.
and the headformer would basically just benefit from some chnges in proportions. and not even that much. though I do think if he's actually going to become a big ol head, the head should be.. kind of planet-y? nice and round like G1 unicron's head.

Mezco seems to be mostly disliked here, it also could have its own general but never has. I’ve always thought most of their figures look pretty good, I still think they have the best looking classic Superman. Sometimes the cloth seems a little too big, but most of the time it’s not that bad.

Not worth it for the price. All their figures look like manlets and they (do their own thing) on some figure designs like pic related. No one who likes Aquaman would buy this and the only people who did had already had OP and one of their Batmen and just wanted to "complete the set".
>>
I like their in-house stuff and IPs that play to their strengths, but their capeshit is usually outstripped by other manufacturers in all areas but accessory counts. As others have mentioned, price increases, massive lead times on product and their seeming desire to remain a bougie boutique brand.
>>
>>10968215
Mezco absolutely won't fit well with anything else though, not sure what your point is with that. Something like that Rorschach slots much easier with Mafex than any Mezco. the smaller bodies are why they work for those lines.
As far as pricey...I don't get that either. some can hit the $100 range, but so can Mezco and the cloth is much cheaper looking on average with mezco.
>>
>>10967926
The two on the left, which are the closest to neutral heads, still suck ass. Would it kill them, if they won't make a smiling head, to have a truly neutral head?

Just saying, the cloth general filled me with no confidence for any of the wannabe lines, especially since they'er so overpriced and undersized.

I've seen some really cool shit, but the actual figures are so disappointing. Either they break easily or the clothes turns out way shittier than the prototypes.

>slots much easier with Mafex
Most Mafex figures are as big as Marvel Legends. It's only lines like Figuarts and Figma where they might be undersized for 1/12.

Go to Customer Service and ask them to look in the back and repack. Buy some gum or some detergent or food or something else you NEED and when you get that survey like I did yesterday, bitch and moan about coming in to the store and not being able to find what you needed and that the guest services didn't really look into it for you; the store manager will come down on them for picking through the stock first or not putting it out. >let's release a protagonist gundam with the signature flashy lights turned OFF
There's no explanation of this decision that isn't frustrating or inconvenient to the intended consumer. It's like they botched a general release just so they don't spoil a gimmick meant to be revealed in the second half of the first episode of the fucking show because the story is so very important unlike the toys they are trying to sell.

It's actually kinda fucking amazing how well Yamato's old VF19F has aged, the Kai reissue from Arcadia is cool and all but the 19F (and by extension the 19S since it's just the same figure with extra lasers and yellow trim) is like everything I wish the Arcadia YF19 would be like, without the frustrating parts.

In fact so many of the worst aspects of the YF19 Arcadia just end up being side effect of adapting the VF19's underlying chassis to the YF's particular aesthetics, resulting in places where it looks more unsightly on the YF (fatter leading lip on the intakes, obvious exposed extension of the leg when viewed from the side, a kinda meaningless flap hatch for the YF that on the VF is part of a cool battroid access hatch gimmick...). I get why they would do that, reusing much of the existing tooling would be financially wise and it still runs circles around the old original Yamato YF19... but I'm a lot more a fan of how it plays out with the M7 Excaliburs. Joints are rather slippery tho, but hey the Yammy era Excalibur is like 10 years old? It's fine.

This is what i want:

All of them 7 or 9 feet tall, if not possible i guess i can deal with ones that are 3 feet tall.

Not the regular face. but the sexy half lidded closed one.

A really big butt a person can squeeze or use as a pillow that has those squishy beads or mouse pad butt cheeks in it.

An anus hole and pussy hole that can fit a hand, or at least several fingers.

A voicebox that is atleast like build a bear but i want one that is likecharacter.aiplus voice ai and can talk if someone touches something on it.

Bd dragon penises At least 8 inches in length. Big Balls Maybe 8 inches tall to? 8 inch breasts in all colors to take on and off.

Matching scents to each character. Zippers for scent bags and sleeping bag vore.
