What kind of jobs do you people have to be able to afford $100+ toys?
>>
>>10968076
I scam sellers on ebay and then sell their toys to a local toy store
>>
>What kind of jobs do you people have
I don't.

>be able to afford toys
I'm not.
>>
>>10968076
I only make 75k a year so I can only afford marvel legends.
>>
>>10968076
I can't afford those ones. $50 is pushing it.
>>
i live at my mom's house and i am 34 and i never saved money so i am fucked anyway

Neetbux

$100+ toys may seem expensive but they're really not when you compare them to other hobbies. I'm into guns and that shit is expensive. Come crying to me when you're slinging $.40 a shot downrange or the $300 H&K wants for a threaded barrel.
>>
>>10968076
Pay in 4 and Credit. I dont pay $100 for a toy everyday though. Sure, that's almost average for an import, but Ive learned not to br\e too impulsive
>>
I rob banks
>>

You don't need a high paying job to afford $100+ figures. What you need is self-control and learning where and how to spend the money you do have. If for example you can't afford to save $25 a week to spend on one $100 figure per month then you have more pressing issues to deal with.

>>10968956
Not just other hobbies but addictions too. At least when you buy a toy then you have it to keep around to enjoy as much as you want.

>>10968968
>Pay in 4 and Credit.
This as well. Once you start it's admittedly a pretty slippery slope but not all bad if you can actually afford it. Why buy one $100 figure now when you can get four each at $25 for the same price basically? Even better if you're able to use a service that doesn't charge you any fees to use it (except for late fees but that is your own fault if that happens).

I am a Government contractor for a large defense contract company. I do various things from consulting, programing, data base administration, Geospatial data analytics, and ML/AI. I make a six figure salary not the highest 6 figure salary but a decent enough one that I live comfortably can help my family and buy what ever toy I want as long as I don't buy to many in one pay period.
>>
My toy collecting hobby is net positive. I buy lots, keep what I want, sell the rest, and use the profit to buy more lots. My return has exceeded my monthly toy budget for a few years now, so I just put the excess into savings.
>>
>>10968076
I draw fur porn for extra cash. I also sell old things I no longer want.
>>
>>10968968
>buying a $100 dodad on a payment plan

>>10969025
Is it at least decent looking porn?
>>
>>10969028
What's the problem? Pretty savvy if no %interest, & keeping in budget per paycycle.

Based glowie

I just work at a restaurant and make 35k a year yet have bought toys that cost thousands. It's all about priorities and selling off toys if I'm no longer using them for me.
>>
I make $80k a year as an electrical technician and my wife makes about $115k as a financial analyst, plus I have a side hussle on ebay flipping my old toys, so I spent probably $1000 on toys every month.
>>
>>10968076
>What kind of jobs do you people have to be able to afford $100+ toys?
Freelance artist
But im not buying 100+ toys every month. but yeah if i will find a 100+ toy i would like to own i will buy it. But i havent seen one since 2022.
>>
>>10968086
Given what dealer buyback prices are like, you must work 80 hour weeks. Congratulations I guess?
>>
>>10968076
Buy dividend paying stocks. Spend dividends on toys. If I want to have more money I have to invest more in stocks. TFW big corporations pay for my toys.
>>
>>10968076
I'm a forklift operator in a warehouse it pays well enough and my living costs are quite low
>>
I've wondered what the Michael Crawford review guy does for a job for years
>>
>>10968076
I'm a furry porn artist living in non-western country. I live like a king thanks to Western coom. By working just a couple days per month, I can literally spend 500-1000 bucks on toys each month and wont even feel it that much.
>>
I work in HR. It doesn't pay a lot, but like other have said, save 25 bucks a week and it's easy, unless you want to buy multiple $100 figures a month.

Also, selling stuff you no longer care about helps a lot.

Learn how to budget your neetbux.

I work at a liquor bottling plant.
>>

I'm an urban planner and make about 2000-8000 a project. I also work from home now. I can buy alot of toys but try to keep it down to 2 or 3 a month. Chris Chan scared me out of having a giant collection. Mostly just get Dragon Ball Figurearts, Figma, or a lego set to build with my oldest daughter. I really like using lego to teach her about my job.

Not breached 30 yet but I also live with my parents. Make normal money but they don't change rent, I just give them some if the need it. I spend like 80% of my wage on dumb shit, but I keep like 6 months worth of my pay in savings. I need to curb the spending though, looking to move out at some point and find a roasty of my own or something.
>>
>>10972564
it's over before it began anon
>>
work full time retail but i live at home so i dont need to pay rent. Car is already paid off too so basically my only bill is my phone bill and i pay half for my car insurance.
everything else i make from work i just save up or just spend it on shit i dont need like toys. but im not even that big of a collector in the first place but because of how much i have saved up, it does allow me to purchase some expensive toy every now and then.
>>
>>10968076
I just go to the bank and apply for more credit.
>>
Managed to get a relatively cheap apartment in California, make a modest 50k/year at a grocery store, import everything from Japan since the exchange rate is fucked. Easy
>>
>>10972768
How the fuck are you making $50k a year at a grocery store AND affording to live on California? Did you discover the infinite money glitch or something?
>>
>>10968076
IT, same as commissioning furry porn.
>>
>>10968989
So what toy will it be that a foreign agent bribes you with to compromise you?
>>
>>10979589
It would have to be the cupboard that let's me make toys alive for me to even consider risking prison and being marked as a traitor to my country. I am not risking getting trunk monkeyed for anything less.
>>
>>10968076
Is this a data collection thread?
>>
>>10984732
>hey boss I got that data you wanted
>nice how bigs the sample size?
>uh like 15?
>ok what about the quality of the answers?
>well half say they draw furry pornography and the other half say the make six figures working entry level jobs
>>
>>10984732
Yes. But no, seriously. I'm surprised people are going into as much detail as they are.
>>
>>10984858
They could be lying though...
>>
>>10970804
Based. I earn around 300$ dividend very 3 months, so i can afford $100 per month toys (if there is anything I like) without any care.
>>10972803
Seriously based and also blessed.
>>
Postman, part-time

I mainly focus on Legobricks, videogames, and Warhammer (the minis, not Actionfigures)

Well, I also try to get Legos and Videogames on sale, and with Warhammer, I guess I should finish my pile of shame first...
