Do you also get autistic pleasure from the process of compiling software? Especially if the software is large, like Linux Kernel or Chromium. I just imagine how all of these small files are being transformed, linked, and finally built into a single binary file, and it gives me tingles.

>>
>>99702075
I don't go out of my way to compile everythign from source, but I do take pleasure compiling old software on old distros in order to recreate systems I once used.
Just today I compiled colored iftop and the other day I compiled a VERY OLD ( its words not mine ) version xscreensaver GLMatrix. Most of the fun for me is diagnosing and tracking down libraries if I have to. iftop is so basic and simple that I don't even need to install it for it to work after compilation. xscreensaver took a while to get all the necessary dependencies but works a treat.
I enjoyed GNU+Linux more before pulseaudio and systemd.

Hi, guys I want project manager. Can anyone recommend something like a good project manager?

There are few things in demand

- I can use it for free and it isn't like a cloud service, instead purely program.
- There need to be tree hierarchies that can be implemented as well as excel tabs in it.

* It sounds like you are looking for anyone recommend something like a good project manager:
* Recommendations include:
- Getting a qt3.14 wife
- Training her as your secretary
- She does it for free (wifely duties)
- You are the top of the tree hierarchy (husband)
- You can excel at keeping tabs on her by using iCloud(tm) for Families(tm)

Same. It's more or less the same shit you'd find on amazon or at retail stores anyway. I couldn't care less about the slow shipping rates - if it's not something that I need immediately, then it can wait. I regularly buy shit on eBay and it takes just as long.
I mainly buy chinkshit from Temu and their return policy is pretty generous so I give whatever I don't want to charity or list it for free on Craigslist.

Get a quality HEPA air cleaner and allergy covers for your pillows/mattress. It obviously won't cure your allergies but it'll help to some extent. Air cleaners are pretty cheap at thrift stores.

I make dozen of screencaps every day and probably around 90% of them are keyframes. I especially seek to the keyframe because most of the time its the least blurry. And yes the vast majority of keyframes is usable since most inbetween-frames are just a mouth or arm moving. Pretty much the only time I'm using inbeween-frames is to catch a specific part of the dialogue as subtitle. I know not everyone is as autistic as me and it probably only works well for anime but keyframe exctraction is a thing and people would probably use it if there were simple tools to take them.
>>
>>99708650
cont. And just for comparison a lossless png screengrab is around 1.2 to 1.5mb while a lossless avif keyframe from an AV1 video is only 60-80kb so the improvement is actually huge and not just a meme.

Because you're using lossy compression. This pic has 1021312 colors. Do your thing to it, then have IrfanView count them.
>>
>>99709746
>Because you're using lossy compression.
No I don't, that's the thing. Of course it was reencoded from the bluray to AV1 first but the avif keyframe is crispy clean without any artefacts or fucked up colors, it's the same quality as the lossless png.

>>
>>99709315
12400 is DOA nowadays with the 12600KF price cut, its a $15 difference + cooler if you're ultra minmaxing with stock 5600 cooler. Though it was kind of DOA before as well because last year's LGA1700 board cost means that the 12400 was like $50-60 more expensive than the 5600 in total platform cost if you want to get anything better than ewaste trash that caps out at the 12400.

Is it worth messing with my RAM timings for more performance?
The EXPO settings seem fine, but the stock timings are 40-40-40-77, tRC 117, tRCF 708. Does this mean I could push my 4th CAS, tRC, and tRCF timings lower?
