I haven't used vegas since 2015, but it's honestly personal preference for me. If it works for you, then great! There were a couple of things that I really disliked about vegas back then, like how you had to be really precise to put the timeline cursor thing in a specific place instead of scrobbling around, etc.

Lurking noob here, thinking of upgrading from my ancient FX-6300 to a 2673v3 and pairing it with a cheap Chinese X99 mobo. I'm too poor to upgrade my RAM, so I'm stuck with my 2x8GB DDR3 sticks.

Is this combo gonna be a bottleneck fest or can it actually game decently? Should I look into other options instead? Trying to keep it as cheap as possible, and honestly, the DDR4 gains seem pretty meh.
