same and i just tell them i would prefer to look better. yeah people will sometimes give you shit and call you anorexic but its like, just because you think its unhealthy doesnt mean it actually is. like just because they think its weird, doesnt change the fact itll just be calories in calories out

That's great, I also come from a family of garbage eaters and am the only one in decent shape. But it's somehow muh genetics. Learning to cook delicious, healthy food for oneself is incredibly rewarding.

Absolutely do NOT restrict water. Drinking enough water is essential to literally every aspect of how your body functions, and going with out it is a very bad idea, especially since your skin will be visibly uglier if you're dehydrated.
>>
When people judge skipping meals/days, I often think of our ancestors who lived in caves and how they absolutely weren't eating 3 large meals a day, or even eating every day

I personally think the cuffs on the jeans disrupt the flow of the outfit, might look better if you hem them so you have a clean transition into the black boots. If you’re gonna stick with the cuffs white or grey sneakers would probably look cool.

looks good as-is. indigo top black bottom only looks off when the jacket is brand new raw or the silhouette is fucked. a lot of anons on this board act like color/lightness is the only way to create visual separation but texture can too. and you don't even necessarily need/want any with denim tuxedos. silhouette is what is key with them. trust your eyeballs. if it looks and feels off its off. if it feels right its right. i think that jacket looks fine with black jeans anywhere from brand new raw black to worn in and grayed. i've found exceptions to every "rule" i've heard with denim tuxedos. to my eyes your fit looks good.
if you want some indigo jeans with visual separation get greencast or natural dyed jeans (pmuch the same end result.) it looks good to my eyes.
type iii's look the best with straight cut or not that tapered jeans, like you have on.
i disagree with the anon saying the cuffs look bad too, your legs are long enough it doesnt throw your proportions off. the pants might be a bit long when uncuffed for shoes tho.

You mean verification? I guess there are too many stupid people here with bad opinions. Like 90% of the fashion industry is unattractive, that's all most all of the people who are working behind the camera. It doesn't make their opinions and knowledge on clothes and style less valid or valuable than someone who's attractive.

i don't like their lenses either. i had puck lenses put into my folding wayfarers. the stuff my optometrist does gives way better visual clarity (i forget to take them off when the sun sets sometimes) but blocks enough light that i can comfortable stare into a rising/setting sun on road trips. they've been reasonable to get done when my insurance hasn't covered it, even if they costed more it'd be a no brainer turns any decent frames into S tier sunglasses.
i won't wear glass lenses because if i did i would have lost my eye a few times already but thats a personal problem.
>>
I remember Gargoyles glasses being the shit back in the 80s, after the U.S. military adopted them (in clear) and especially after Arnold wore them in The Terminator.

anything "neo cut" is more italian styled than classic ivy (wider, curved lapels mainly)
the "navy hopsack" looks like the most classic option, textured and relatively breathable weave. flannel is warmer/fuzzier and twills are less breathable but more water-resistant. avoid anything with "stretch"

Any recommendations for a hooded raincoat which isn’t a Barbour? I already have a Barbour and a trench which don’t get much use because I find they look a little too much like a costume in my day to day. If I can’t find anything then I’ll guess I’ll just have to succumb to the outdoor brand flavor of the month shell jacket.

>Cut your belt
if its not a cheap piece of shit go to a leatherworker (some tailors or luggage repair places will do it too) and have them open the belt up from the buckle side and shorten it there & add an extra hole if needed.
just cutting the belt will fuck the edge up and make it look bad. better than the belt being too long though fair enough.
