Whats the zoomer equivalent of Jay Z x Linking park?
>>121952671Not music.

>>121952671they don't have them.Jay Z 2 implies the existence of a seasoned rapper with seniority. Zoomer rappers can't stay relevant for longer than maybe 2 years, plus they hate albums. And they ironically or post-ironically love LP, but they're deathly afraid of sincerity, so they'll never replicate them.

What are some bands that you used to confuse with one another? I used to confuse Journey with Pearl Jam. Also, Fleetwood Mac with Florence and the Machine.
>>121952203>Journey>Pearl Jamyou might be retarded anon
>>121952212They both have the letter J. That might be why.
>>121952144Oh yeah, I also used to confuse Nick Drake with Nick Cave.
>>121952212I know I'm not retarded for a fact. I took an online IQ test and it said that I had 120 IQ. And it wasn't one of those shitty free ones either, I paid a good amount for that test.

>>121952420Have you watched any of his streams? He was making serious money on this and got way too comfortable with the channel being his main/only source of income. You'd be crying too.
>steal peoples music>"react" to it>act surprised when you get copyright strikesretard
Not that I would ever debase myself and become a youtube music reviewer but I always thought that if I were to I would just give every album I reviewed a 10/10 regardless of what I said about it.
>>121952113The acting...HOLY SMOKESI'd almost believe it if it weren't coming from him. Now put up all this performance alongside his "most famous clips" of him losing his shit over nothing. Now that would be kino.Surely after this passes it will go on his sound board, no way it wouldn't, because that would be just pathetic.

She's allegedly the biggest artist in the world. Yet, Shake it off is the only song most people are familiar with. She's basically a one hit wonder.

>>121950625>From their immodest moniker to their fervent anti-dance stance,FSOL represent the unsightly flowering of ‘the new progressive rock’always latent within the concept of electronic listening music. Okay, credit where credit’s due: in their early incarnation as Humanoid, BrianDougans and Gary Cobain created a propulsive slice of UK acieedtekno with 1989’s ‘Stakker Humanoid’. And their other chart smash,FSOL’s ‘Papua New Guinea’ was a sumptuous, gorgeously emotionalrave anthem; it sampled the sublime aria-like tones of mystic-diva LisaGerrard from Dead Can Dance, and even used a breakbeat. But whenthey turned their backs on the dancefloor (‘I see the term “dance” asreally restrictive for us,’ sniffed Dougans) and dedicated themselves toconcept albums, FSOL’s pop instincts withered. In 1994, they released their second album, Lifeforms, a double-CDmagnum opus. It’s a Daliesque frightmare of liquifacient forms, apseudo-organic sample-scape congested with scrofulous sound-tendrilsComment too long. Click here to view the full text.

>>121948903Nice work, I wanna make dungeon synth too, but I have no experience with music production whatsoever, I don't play instruments etc. Is it hard to get into it and learn it?
How is the sound quality on this? https://voca.ro/1g0mcuZob6RCSomeone complained that there was too much distortion, so I turned it down on the drums. Maybe the high shelf is adding too much noise to the orchestral instruments? But I don't know what to do about that.
>>121951332You have a real ear for music. Everything is mixed well together without sounding too overwhelming. I enjoyed listening to it.
about to download 37gb of drum material for sampling. ill be lucky if i can find one loop that fits this groove im working on >>121951332the only thing self indulgent to a fault i sense is your attitude. song is great but a little meandering. actually come to think of 6 minutes is pretty self indulgent. nice textures

The daughter of Ian Curtis
is this the thread where we post kids of musicians?
Do you guys think it's better or worse to be the child of someone famous/talented? If they're successful the material privileges obviously are advantageous but living in the shadow of a giant can be overwhelming, especially if people push you to their profession. I think it would be more fun to hang out with said kids(as adults), they probably have been in a weird place of semi reverence from their peers due to their parents and it'd be interesting to actually talk to them. Plus people wouldn't be craving an audience nearly as much as with their parent, it would be fun to smoke a joint with a musicians children and just discuss various things with them/hear their stories if they are cool sharing
