Alright, here it is, pretty proud of how this one turned out, here's to a Dream Land-themed collab to celebrate 32 years! I propose the idea of a "gimmick" for the occassion, and that'd be making drawings that only use GameBoy/Color palettes for them to keep with the theme, I'll post an image with a few official GB palettes for anyone who'd like a more accessible base. If none of those do it for you, I'd still say to try keeping it to a 3 to 4 color palette, maybe try looking towards NES or GBC-exclusive games for reference. It's not a rule, but it could look pretty nice if everyone follows the idea. I have a palette in mind for my own addition, though it might be a while before I include it, slightly busy currently.Happy 32nd Kirby, here's to many more!

And because I know I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't finish it, here's how that Puyo-style Elfilis turned out. Extremely happy with the results, Legamünt was a much better base than Satan for sure, though I 100% need to do voice clips now since Legamünt's wouldn't fit Elfilis at all compared to Satan's, Now that I have a proper Puyo Elfilis design ready, I think the rest of the mod should come more naturally. If any of you play Puyo Tetris 2, I hope you'll get some use out of it.

Really though, I don't think it's necessarily about it being a Western or Japanese studio (hell, Country was made by Rare), but moreso about a studio that can properly handle it. MercurySteam handled Metroid Dread and they're based in Spain, maybe some other Euro studio or otherwise will pitch in for a DKC remake or something along those lines, and then make a new DK game, who knows. There's good options in Japan, but I'd say DK's better platformers (unless you count the Mario VS DK stuff, which I think is definitely more Mario than DK) all have come from Western studios. It just depends on finding a studio who can live up to Nintendo's standards like Rare did back in the day, and Retro did for a while.
