Though admittedly they are practically identical, their movesets are the same save Vile gets both Petal Dance and Solar Beam while Vicky only gets razor leaf, both are caught on the same route, both are three stage evos with 3 being a stone, Both have 100 Special which is what their STAB will be using. Their only real difference is Vileplume has more defense and Victrebel has more PhysAtk.

The only way to counter Alakazam is with another Alakazam and sometimes Starmie. Tauros is hard to deal with but doubt is better than Alakazam
