That time Jeff Hardy was drugged as fuck and wrestled The Rock live on RAW. He was fired soon after.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6L3o4Ktn94
>>14572532I wonder what he remembers from his entire career. Seriously. Imagine having such a career but not remembering much because you were on drugs all along.
>>14572532How come Rock could get a decent match from a drugged up Jeff yet Sting didn't even try?
>>14572868There's different levels of high
>>14572868because Stink is a shitter who never had a good match. the only time he was ever over was when he specifically wasn't wrestling.
>>14572868bitchoff told sting to just pin him. you can read their lips when they are pretending to shake hands, Sting asks what bitchoff wants him to do and bitchoff says splash and pin him
>>14572691without the drugs that made him forget the career who would have had the balls to do what he did and would have been in too much pain to do it. it’s a paradox
>>14573373A mystery? A riddle? A door in your face, perhaps?
>>14572532holy shit he was really fucked up
>>14572691how much do wrestlers even remember without drugs? im sure most matches are a blur
>>14572868In fairness, with the sting incident, Jeff was so high he couldn't even walk straight when he did his entrance
>>14572532I can't tell any difference between this and a 'regular' Jeff, hits his moves fine and looks about as kooky as he always does. The Sting match was something else though, dude could hardly stand up
>>14572532how many more DUI's since then
>>14572868>>14573344>>14574897Here's some webms of that entire debacle:>>>/wsg/5537738>>>/wsg/5537743>>>/wsg/5537745>>>/wsg/5537747Bischoff probably could have handled things a lot better than he did, but in his defense he didn't have much time to think it over.
>>14577453What I legitimately do not understand with this and with the 2019 TLC where Kairi almost died is how do you not have someone on standby back stage incase someone happens during a main event of a ppv? Like how much would it really set you back to pay a few people to hang out back stage and if something goes wrong have them do a run out and turn it into a fake brawl?
>>14577852From wikipedia:>Bischoff also added that had Hardy been discovered 45 minutes sooner, TNA would have likely been able to find a replacement and inform all of the affected parties in time. However, as most talent had already been out of their ring gear and showered by the time of the main event (or, in some cases, had left the arena altogether), the crew in gorilla was left with no choice but to let Hardy compete and to end the match as quickly as possible.[16]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victory_Road_(2011)#Jeff_Hardy_incidentSo they could have gotten another wrestler to fill in as a replacement if they had enough time, but they didn't know until he was literally heading out to the ring.
>>14572532What in the fuck was that female pop at the beginning, that was ridiculous
>>14578259that is what I am saying. Why does everyone get sent home so much earlier than the main event? Why is it >if it was 45 mins earlier.
>>14578275I don't have an answer for you. But considering how all of these promotions routinely release talent all the time, I guess they don't want to or can't afford to pay to have some backup talent around "just in case". Then again, not having them around and situations like this, might end up costing them even more in the long run.The thing that amazes me is how many times Jeff Hardy fucks up but keeps getting a "second" chance, over and over. This fuck up itself probably should have ended his career, yet it didn't. You see a lot of other wrestlers ended for less.
>>14578400aren't they paying other talents to be there that day anyway? just tell the to stay until the main event is over. plus how much does it cost to pay some jobbers to hang out, just in case? You really only need it for the main event too
>>14578446The main event was the final event, and as the wikipedia article said most of the talent had showered, changed, and most had even left the arena by that point. Also, keep in mind that TNA was (and still is) not a WWE-tier promotion. They have a smaller pool of talent and less resources. Something like this probably wouldn't end up happening at the WWE, but smaller promotions are less prepared to handle this stuff.
>>14578275>Why does everyone get sent home so much earlier than the main event? They don't get sent home, they leave. Sometimes to beat traffic, sometimes because they have to get to the airport quickly, sometimes because they just don't care.
>>14578597something like this DID happen in WWE in 2019. during TLC, because why the fuck were womeme main eventing, kairi suffered a concussion and then got more injured by flair being a retard because flair had to get her shit in and>we can't have asuka win the match 2 v 1 against becky and flairwhen there really wasn't any reason why in a situation like that they couldn't have someone run in to fake brain flair or fight with her so they could evac kairi>>14578597>>14578643literally could just add to the contract>for pay per views you need to stay until closingconsidering the other talent are getting paid for pay per views anyway

>>14578274Jeff was over with the females
>>14572532Many such cases.
>>14573274Just buy him the fucking tanning bed already Eric. It's been almost 30 years and he's retired now.
