Yeah Mayumi seems to be a special case, but I think Japanese ideas of soul are pretty different from those in the west. I think the traditional belief was that basicaly everything had some sort of a soul. So the haniwa could have a soul and be kind of golems at the same time..?

Is she capable of teleportation like Okina? Partway through her boss battle you quickly move from her building to the edge of the garden with the same sound effect as Okina's doors too.

Yeah I don't think Touhou games really do that sort of thing.

I've never gotten the extra ending in Wily Beast where we apparently see more of Keiki...I'm so bad at these games even if I love them, and WBaWC is so demoralizing to play to begin with...yet I don't want to spoil myself too much on the endings if I somehow someday happen to become good enough to get there myself...

I completed the 100 days of drawing challenge today. It's not great but it's a creation and it's Keiki. I'm a bit disapointed that I didn't get better than this but at least I completed the challenge and there was some progress in the three months plus ten days.
