they're all owned by the chinese mafia to launder money, which is why these places use all of the same menus, and why they never shut down even when no one goes there

How does every Chinese joint have like 80 + menu items? Is Chinese more or less all the same shit mixed in different ways? Or are they just brilliant at managing their kitchen? White people can't even handle pizza, pasta, wings, half the time and if their menu has more than 20 things their business crumbles.
>>
>>20476407
It's 80 items using maybe 10 ingredients. It's the same with tex-mex food. Everything is a variation on the same theme.
>>
>>20476407
>Is Chinese more or less all the same shit mixed in different ways?
basically yes, most of the menu for a typical chinese takeaway is going to be proteins mixed in different sauces
>>
>>20476407
>Is Chinese more or less all the same shit mixed in different ways?
Yes and you should ask why Taco Bell discontinues items when they still have all the ingredients right there for other items on the menu.
>>
>>20476414
>>20476415
Thought so, thanks. Yeah, Mexican in the states is obvious. Chinese seems to have a lot of variance in sauces, but if they're all made ahead of time, I guess its not that hard.
>>20476419
Taco Bell is the king of novelty and limited editions. I swear my local ones change menu every month and people freak out because their nacho fries or spicy sauce is gone, then buy 4x's the amount the next month it pops up again, so they don't get fomo. Taco Bell smart.

>>

You guys might laugh, but when I was a kid there was a Chinese place near me where the waiter would come around with a cheese grater and grate cheddar on to your food. It was pretty good.

That was back when the "upscale Chinese place marketed to white people" was still kind of a thing. The place had nice decor, well dressed waiters, real table cloths, etc. Pic isn't my restaurant but it was this kind of style.
>>
>>20476221
An den?
>>
>>20476163
yeah can I get the hunan chicken dinner combo, pork fried rice and egg roll, and can I get one order of pork dumplings, steamed, and a small boneless spare ribs?
>>
>>20476407
90% of a western chinese menu is the same mix of vegetables (snow peas, broccoli, carrot, onion, baby corn, cauliflower), with one of four types of meat (pork, chicken, beef, prawn), and one of a handful of similar bulk, pre-made sauces.
>>
>>20476785
NO AND THEN
>>
>>20476790
hmm no? you're forgetting the zucchini and mushrooms and cabbage and celery and the peppers and the bok choy and water chestnuts and scallions and bean sprouts and chilis

>Taco Bell is the king of novelty and limited editions.
Taco Bell is a shadow of what it used to be. A few lame limited-time items don't make up for that

When getting stuff like general tso's or kung paw I always remember to get "no peanuts" It's not that I'm allergic to peanuts, it's because they're annoying to me.
>>
>>20477504
If your ass was a Chinese restaurant….

There used to be a C&C by Tech that was ace. And Lucky Buddha too. That place would alternate between 55's and 100's on their health scores. Memories.
>>
>>20476178
You might want to try some chicken stuff out as a test, like chicken lo mein. Any seafood stuff might be iffy.
>>
>>20476163
(OP can you please flip the menu to show the "beef" section?)

"Hmmmmm...Give me just a second.."
>>
>>20476311
>which is why these places use all of the same menus
actually that's because they are all supplied by Sysco. you can buy basically every supply you need to start a chinese restaurant from Sysco.
>>
>>20477459
