I talked to a couple cardano devs and they told me the platform is trash and the whitepapers are bullshit. Are they just being whiny bitches, or is there some truth to this claim?

Charles is cosplaying as Steve Jobs but there is no Apple II, only grift. He's the perfect example of someone who has failed up: contributed nothing to ETH, yet made loads of money simply by having being involved early. Likewise got ETC as a result of the fork. His only reason for Cardano is that it's just his attempt to try to show the original ETH team they were wrong to get rid of him. But it's like 9 years now and he's just too narcissistic to just admit that he's failed, he'd rather keep putting money into this project out of spite and to preserve his fragile ego.
