Lots of people make a definite effort to go out and be social. It could include volunteering, part-time jobs, local clubs and organizations, there's really a lot of options believe it or not

Think about joining the air force if you live in USA. good trajectory toward high paying "tech" jobs. If youre smart youll get a good job around smart people while in the service
